2008 Tomasi Vineyard Cabernet Merlot

Notes	The grapes for this wine are 100% estate grown. The colour is deep brick red with a well defined rim and is in brilliant condition.The nose shows blackberry, cassis, mint and some red fruits. There is some vanilla bean as well. The palate is full, rich and complex. There is black currant ,strawberry, cherry and mulberry with hints of mint, leather and a spicy earthy texture. Oak is well integrated and restrained and gives a light tarry background. This wine is eminently enjoyable now and will benefit from 5-10 years bottle age.

2008 Cabernet Merlot

Varieties	65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot
Notes	The grapes for this wine are 100% estate grown. The colour is mid brick and the wine is in brilliant condition. The nose has cassis and crushed black cherry. There are some spicy notes as well. The palate is of medium to full weight and shows strawberry, black cherry and some mint chocolate. There are some spicy earthy notes as well. The tannins are well integrated and the palate is dominated by sweet fruit. The oak is subtle, and the wine has a clean finish. This is a wine to enjoy now, though it will age for 10-12 years.
