2008 Tomasi Vineyard Merlot

Notes	This wine is made from the old ’Block 4’ of the Tomasi vineyard. The old vines consistently give us fruit of incredible flavour and intensity. The wine is deep brick in colour and is in bright condition. The nose shows mulberry, strawberry and some cedar. There are oak and skin tannins in good balance. The palate is long and full with a clean finish. It is well structured without being drying. It has a wonderful smooth velvet like texture with oak imparting a spicy note.
